Brief Curriculum Vitae
Marco ALVISI, Degree in Physics in 1994 (University of Bologna). Main scientific activities are in Physical Vapour Deposition methods (ionbeam,
dc and rf sputtering, e–beam evaporation) used to obtain coatings and
metal nanosclusters for fuel cells and nanotube catalysis. He has co–authored more than 70 scientific papers (H index 16) published in leading refereed journals in thin films, surface technology and gas sensor devices fields, participating periodically at the major national/international conference in material science. He is author of four Italian patents on polymer nanostructures, gas sensors and reference materials.
After some years of experience in CNR and INFM, since 2001 he is researcher at ENEA in the Materials and New Technologies Department, working mostly in the field of nanostructured coatings for fuel cells electrode, sensor active materials and hydrogen permeation. He is responsible of the Industrial Liason Office of ENEA Brindisi.
