Brief Curriculum Vitae

Zafer Ziya Öztürk is professor of solid–state physics at the Gebze Technical Unversity, Turkey. He received his PhD from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, in 1982. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, University of Tübingen, Germany, and has held several research, teaching and scientist positions including Dicle University, Diyarbakir,TUBITAK Marmara Research Center, Gebze, and Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey. His research interests involve solid–state device sensors, molecular electronics as well as chemical and biochemical sensors.
