Brief Curriculum Vitae

Wolfhard Reimringer is in charge of sensor hardware development and systems integration at 3S GmbH. His responsibilities include customer specific devices as well as infrastructure technology and research setups for gas sensor applications.

He studied Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering in Saarbruecken (Germany) where he is involved with 3S since 2006. Graduating with a master’s thesis on a field test hardware for mnt–era.net project VOC–IDS, current activities center on indoor (FP7 project SENSIndoor) and outdoor air quality devices.

He is a member of engineering organizations VDE and IEEE as well as the German teachers’ society for natural sciences MNU. He is involved in summer schools for technically–minded pupils to promote interest in engineering.
