Brief Curriculum Vitae
Oliver von Sicard studied Physics at the Ludwig–Maximilians–University Munich and the University of Lund. He received his Diploma in 2007. During his studies his main focus was on surface physics and material science.
He joined the gas sensing group of Siemens Corporate Technology in 2007 and has since specialized in solid state gas sensors and complex signal analysis. Over the past years he has worked on several projects targeted at the development of innovative gas sensors employing nanomaterials as sensing layers and the characterization of gas sensors in respect to specific applications.
His most recent work is concerned with the integration of sensors in applications like indoor air quality or non invasive diagnostics using breath sensing.
He has worked on several European projects focused on IAQ, new sensing materials and integration of sensors like NetCarity, ClearUp, ESEE and MSP
Oliver von Sicard is author of more than 30 patents (some pending) and several scientific articl
